      A CHERUB agent is nearly killed attempting to infiltrate a notorious street gang, and James and Bruce are sent to preserve the mission. They try to gain the leader's trust to secure incriminating information, but events quickly escalate, putting their lives in danger. The book's first half loses focus, but series fans will appreciate the suspenseful and graphic action.
